Designed to capture a homogeneous and natural accordion sound, this model has two microphone rows (10 microphones) which is the perfect solution for French chromatic or 5-reed accordions.

Balanced Sound: Allowing the accordionist to accurately balance the sound of the accordion keys, the AC1001-DUAL pickup has a BALANCE control between the two microphone rows, which can be adjusted by a trimpot or externally by a potentiometer (on demand).

Free Microphone Positioning: Suspended by a special cable, its microphones can be positioned freely to easily adapt in accordions of many types and sizes from 8 to 120 basses.

Best Control of Tone in Cassotto Accordions: In the case of an accordion with cassotto, the balance control allows the player to emphasize the voices that are in the chamber and to balance them with the voices that are outside of the chamber. In the case of a non-chambered accordion, this feature allows the perfect adjustment of volume between the white and black keys. 

Mono/Stereo Switch, Volume and Tone Control: The AC1001-DUAL pickup also has individual tone control for the bass and treble and a mono/stereo output switch.

High Feedback Resistance: The AC 1001-Dual is a system with high feedback resistance, as the combination of its directional microphones with high fidelity electronics enable the system to ignore external sound up to 100 times greater (up to 30dB).

Reliability: The AC 1001-Dual system uses a high quality jack, which guarantees the musician the best electrical contact the moment the cable is plugged in. The sealed potentiometers prevent any dust particles from entering into the electrical contacts, guaranteeing a longer volume control circuit life. In addition, the AC 1001-Dual uses the highest-standard locking connectors, ensuring the best connection quality.

Versatility and Invisibility: This system possesses the versatility to be adapted to accordions of any size – from 8 to 120 buttons, keyboard or button based, diatonic or chromatic.
